钢丝绳用纤维芯生产及使用过程中，常因不同厂家、不同批纱线供料差异造成绳芯直径的不连续性，最终对钢丝绳合绳及使用产生一定的影响。针对纤维绳芯使用中存在的问题，提出了明确采购技术条件、加强来料验收、正确选择纱线、加强过程控制、做好质量检查等内部管理等建议，给出了具体技术条件。
