麻绳使用中，严禁与锐利的物体直接接触，如无法避免时应垫以保护物。

(4)麻绳在当做跑绳使用时，安全系数不得小于10；当做绳扣使用时，安全系数不得小于12。

(5)麻绳不得与酸、碱等腐蚀性介质接触。

(7)麻绳使用前应认真检查，当表面均匀磨损不超过直径的30%，局部触伤不超过同断面直径的10%时，可按直径缩减程度折合降低使用。如局部触伤和局部腐蚀严重的，可截去受损部分插接使用。
(7) The hemp rope should be carefully checked before use. When the surface uniform wear does not exceed 30% of the diameter and the local contact does not exceed 10% of the diameter of the same section, the hemp rope can be reduced by reducing the diameter. If local contact and local corrosion are serious, the damaged part can be intercepted for use.
(8)麻绳使用于滑车组时，滑轮的直径应大于麻绳直径的10倍，其绳槽半径应大于麻绳半径的1/4。
(8) When the linen rope is used in the pulley block, the diameter of the pulley should be 10 times larger than the diameter of the linen rope, and the radius of the groove of the linen rope should be greater than 1/4 of the radius of the linen rope.
